Third grade built some fun straw mazes over the last couple weeks. These are available for use for indoor recess or other free time. The mazes and marbles will be in the library office starting next week for anyone who would like to use them with their class.

This afternoon both schools were placed in a SECURE. Neither school was in danger and it was taken out of an abundance of caution after hearing a loud noise. Again, the school was NOT in danger at any point. Just a reminder a SECURE is just to investigate something not that we are in immediate danger.

It is Severe Weather Awareness Week this week! This morning, both schools participated in a Shelter Drill. Students practiced what to do in case of a tornado and walked calmly and quietly to their shelter locations! Great job everyone!

The Bluegrass Conference Art Fair will be hosted by Twin Cedars this year!

Twin Cedars FFA will begin selling tickets for the Marion County Fair Rodeo soon! Tickets are $15 for anyone over 16 years of age and $5 will be donated to our FFA chapter! Ticket sales will begin next week!

Yesterday was World Down Syndrome Day! At Twin Cedars Elementary, we celebrated Lilly. She has touched each of our hearts and makes us smile every day. We are so lucky!
