Safe+Sound Iowa is a school threat reporting tool that allows students, parents, and teachers the ability to report school safety concerns anonymously.  This is a free tool that is offered to all Iowa K-12 schools.  Reported concerns are monitored by Safe+Sound Iowa dispatchers and the information received is shared with schools and law enforcement so they can work together to address safety concerns.  Safe+Sound Iowa reports should be treated no differently than any other safety concern received by the school.  Direct threats to life, self-harm and other time sensitive reports are immediately shared with local law enforcement.
