Wednesday, January 13, junior and senior high students participated in Mental Health day for their second Wellness Wednesday of the year. Students learned about ways to relieve stress, improve their sleep, meditate, and learn from failure. Students also learned about depression, coping strategies, nutrition, and self-care. Some students also helped with a project for a local family in need. The day wrapped up with "Ending the Silence," a presentation about preventing suicide, from the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Special thanks to Lisa and Bri from NAMI for coming to speak to our students!
